New Dealer Spotlight: Global Machinery

Dale Brown started specialized equipment dealer Global Machinery in Denver in 1994 after a nearly two-decade career at a major construction equipment manufacturer. Having interacted with numerous dealers during this time, he recognized the business potential of owning his own dealership.

Over the past 26 years, Global Machinery has grown to become a worldwide supplier of new and used specialized equipment focusing on the utility, forestry, land management, rock drilling and excavation segments of the construction industry. With four locations in the Western United States, Global Machinery offers a full range of equipment to meet sales, rental and leasing requirements throughout the country and internationally, as well as the ability to service the equipment it sells.

“We have grown our company by focusing on customer service, providing first-class support to our customers for their service and maintenance needs. That, and the fact that we are experts in the industries we serve,” said Global Machinery President Jeff Brown. “We have a very strong group of employees who are honest, extremely knowledgeable, hard-working and committed to the success of Global Machinery through the success of our customers.”

After 24 years of serving the utility and forestry segments of the construction industry, one of Global Machinery’s largest customers—explosives supplier Buckley Powder—suggested the company look into becoming an FRD USA dealer. Global Machinery became a dealer in 2018.

“We chose to work with FRD USA because of the strong reputation they have in the rock drill and breaker industries, and the fact that they were highly recommended by Buckley Powder,” said Brown.

Brown said the quality and performance of the products FRD USA produces is what sets it apart. In a bit more than two years, Global Machinery has been successfully marketing, demoing, renting, selling and supporting the entire line of FRD USA rock drills and hydraulic breakers.

Brown said he expects the partnership between Global Machinery and FRD USA will continue to grow as the rock drill and breaker industry expand.

“I think the future of the rock drill and breaker industry is strong. The overall construction and mining industries continue to stay strong and I believe that will continue for the foreseeable future,” he added.
