Furukawa Rock Drill USA Introduces Fxa Small Series Breakers with Redesigned Piston, Cylinder Liner and Seal Retainer for Improved Impact
KENT, OH – July 28, 2016 – Furukawa Rock Drill USA, a leading manufacturer of rock drills and attachments for skid steer, mini excavators, backhoes and excavators, is introducing its newest line of small series breakers – the Fxa Series. The Fx15a/25a/35a Series and the Fx45a/55a Series incorporate design innovations to three internal components – the piston, cylinder liner and seal retainer – for harder-hitting, improved performance.
The new piston design has a longer stroke length and an increased diameter. The faster speed of the larger piston combined with an increased stroke creates greater energy. The modified cylinder liner accommodates the larger piston and decreases the build up of internal heat, while the redesigned seal retainer compensates for higher back-head pressure.
Other features include:
- Mono-block design with only two moving parts reduces maintenance
- No Through-bolts to maintain or diaphragm to replace
- Replaceable front wear bushing keeps tools at peak performance
- Wide oil flow range for fast, hard-hitting performance and more carrier options
- A variety of mounting options that can accommodate any carrier or application
In addition, the Fx45a and FX55a breaker is configured for numerous mounting options (pin-on and quick-hitch adaptable) that allow fast and easy change between skid steer loaders and mini-excavators. They are ideal for site preparation, foundation removal, road repair, driveway and sidewalks or pedestrian bridges.
The Fx15a, Fx25a and Fx35a breakers have a smaller footprint, making them ideal for use in tight work environments, sidewalk, driveway removal or any other demolition task. They can be used on mini-excavators, compact utility loaders and skid steer loaders.
