FRD USA Boosts Dealer and End-User Efficiency with New F-Check Instant Identification System

Furukawa Rock Drill USA (FRD.USA), a leading manufacturer of hydraulic breakers and vibratory plate compactors designed for all types of carriers and of blast-hole drills, introduces the industry’s first QR code system to optimize dealer and end-user operations.

FRD introduced the F-Check System in January 2019. F-Check provides dealers with smartphone access to product identification, specifications and other pertinent information for all FRD Tier IV drills and the majority of its attachments. On a dealer lot, staff can scan the QR code on the attachment and quickly determine:

  • Size and configuration
  • Specifications
  • Carrier compatibility

Similarly, F-Check QR codes on FRD drills will allow end users and operators with quick access to:

  • Drill model
  • Specifications
  • Maintenance intervals

“With just a couple clicks, our customers — and their customers — can access important equipment information,” explains Jeff Crane, president FRD USA. “F-Check enables our dealers to raise the industry standard of customer service even higher and allows dealers to identify their inventory and operations more efficiently.”

On the job site, too, operators have on-the-go access to the information noted above, as well as shipping dimensions for each drill – all on a single, scrollable page.

FRD invites dealers, customers and end-users to test the F-Check Instant Identification System by scanning the QR code at www.frdusa.com/f-check-instant-identification-system/.
