Meet our Southeast and Caribbean Regional Sales Manager, Tom Holmes

Tom Holmes is an experienced Regional Sales Manager covering the Southeastern US & the Caribbean. He has worked in the Drilling and Blasting industry his whole career after graduating from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics. He has worked as both a technical rep for an explosives company, as well as management in drilling and blasting operations, sales and product development for drill manufacturers (oil & gas/water well / Construction/mining, UG and surface) and now working with Furukawa Rock Drill’s Rock Drill Division for 30 years.

He is very customer-oriented, with the knowledge of day to day operations of drill blast contractors and mining operations, recognizing their challenges with production, uptime and required cost-effective drilling targets. He has a definite appreciation for the need for parts and technical support from the drill supplier thru his experience of being a Drill / Blast Foreman early in his career, as well as working with the explosives industry and drill manufacturers.

Thru planning and relationship building, he has been able to develop the Southeast region with strong support from our main offices in Kent, OH and especially the Southeast Regional Branch offices in Spartanburg, SC.

Away from work, time with his wife, Judy and daughter, Abbey, is always a pleasure, whether at the beach, traveling or at home. Hobbies/interests include sailing, golf and the Koi pond at his home.

Tom covers Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Southwest Virginia and Florida, as well as the Caribbean Basin.
