HCRL90-E5 ROCK DRILL – INNOVATIVE FEATURES FOR HIGHER PERFORMANCE
HCRL90-E5 – The simple, durable, efficient solution for drilling in rock quarries and/or construction sites.
The HCRL90-E5 rock drill from FRD USA is a simple, durable, and efficient drilling solution for rock quarries and construction sites. The HCRL90-E5 has an extendable boom and incorporates a self-adjusting drill system that ensures high performance and high output regardless of the drilling situation. With the on-the-fly adjustability of impact force, feed force, rotation force with the aid of the dual damper drifter, the HCRL90-E5 adapts to various rock conditions you experience at different depths, thus increasing drilling performance and extending the life of drill tools while decreasing fuel consumption.
HCRL90-E5 Features & Benefits
- Low-emission Tier IV engines offer low fuel consumption and meet US exhaust emissions regulations.
- Advanced rotary rod changer allows easy drill rod changes. Operators can add and remove rods using a single lever.
- 12′ rods with extendable boom for increased drill pattern.
- Heavy-duty undercarriage – featuring a pentagonal section design to reduce dirt build-up and track wear – ensures strength and durability.
- High-output compressor delivers larger supply of flushing air, provides faster drilling and decreases bit wear.
- Reliable dust control system increases suction capacity and provides effective pre-cleaner to reduce the escape of drilling dust. An optional dust suppression system is available for difficult drilling conditions.

Dependable Blasthole Drills Start at Step One
Blasthole rigs and drills don’t need much explanation. They’re used for drilling a hole into the surface of the rock, packing the hole with explosives and then detonating those explosives in the blasthole to break up rock and hard minerals to make it easier to remove.
